This stunning matching numbers UK supplied RHD 911 is offered with a Porsche GB certificate of authenticity showing its current original colour of Gold metallic / 8810 which interestingly was a North American only colour and a special order by the first UK owner. It is trimmed in tan leather and pleasingly retains all its original interior. Current ownership for 28 years. It was ordered with the following optional equipment, namely:

Pressure cast wheels, stabilizer bars, mirror driver’s side, trim on the wheel cut out, comfort, tinted windshield and side glass, headrest left and right, sport seats, rear wiper.

The 911 has been enthusiastically owned for the last 28 years and completed many European tours and a bespoke aluminium fuel tank guard was fitted as a precautionary measure for the Alpine passes.

The history file contains invoices dating back until 1986 with notable Porsche specialists being entrusted, namely, Francis Tuthill, Rennspeed and Strasse. MOT records dating back until 1982 are on file. Photographs and an invoice evidence a glass out bare metal respray in 1986 which has largely stood the test of time very well. During the past 12 months, XTE300L was sent to Strasse in Leeds for an engine and gearbox rebuild; bills on file for circa £8500 support this.

Amongst the history file is a 1973 911 T/E/S drivers manual, sales brochures and a technical data sheet along with a Certificate of Authenticity and Certificate of production from Porsche Cars GB showing a manufacturing date of 9th February 1973. The date of registration in the UK was 12th March 1973.

On the road, the 911 displayed all the attributes of a well sorted car that has been regularly used and maintained regardless of cost. It is only coming to market due to the changing circumstances of its owner.

Estimated at £80,000 - £100,000
