Surely a unique opportunity to acquire a County V8 in such long-term ownership with low mileage. We have never seen a Defender of this age in such outstanding condition. All the usual places are without damage, namely door shuts, floors, bulkhead and chassis and the whole structure is remarkable. Being in current ownership since 1992 and with the St Johns Ambulance, it has obviously led a very sheltered life and quite evidently been well garaged throughout that time. Upon inspection, the Land Rover appears to be carrying its original paint and interior. The only deviation from standard and does need mentioning is the nearside rear bench seat is absent having been replaced by a rack presumably to carry medical equipment. All other seating is present and offers accommodation for seven persons that will increase to nine once a rear seat is installed. Recently MOT tested, the Land Rover is a joy to drive and does not have the usual transmission and suspension creaks and groans that is normally found on a “well campaigned” vehicle. The five-speed gearbox and V8 engine are a true delight. Don’t miss this one, you will regret it if you do.
